WILD 6

Mon 25 February 2008

I did my usual two fingered technique and got the plummeting feeling pretty quickly.
I couldn't emerge into the dream straight away, and I felt as if I were on the moving deck of a ship, tumbling about with the waves on an ocean. Only I wasn't on a deck, I was free-floating in the air. A most strange sensation. After a while, I could see a square patch of starry sky.
The light from the sky illuminated four stone walls all around me. It was like I was in a long extended chimney, with a square opening at the top. I was floating slowly towards the hole.
I thought that this seemed rather like a near-death experience and I decided that I didn't really want to die, so I'd rather not go nearer to the opening. This made 'god', or whatever was pulling me towards the opening, a bit angry. Some sort of blue energy started coming down the tunnel. I used my dream power to force it back out. I was quite pleased with myself for being able to do that
Then, golden sparks started to shower down from the opening. I was now on the stone floor, and as the sparks hit the floor around me, they showered up and all around. When I looked closer, I realised that the golden sparks were actually galaxies! It was quite a wonderful thing to see.
I started coming out of this dream, and managed to put myself inside another. I was back outside the work/school building of my previous dream, at night again. I tried to make it daytime, but it didn't work. So, I went for a walk down the road. I remember stopping by a brick wall and making it come into crystal clear clarity. I then walked on and stopped by a tree. There was a stumpy part at chest height, and I placed my hand on it. I could feel the wood underneath my hand. I then forced my hand into the tree trunk. As I did so, I could feel the wood, with its woody texture enveloping my hand. I walked on, but soon came out of the dream.
As I woke up, I had a new experience. In real life, I was under a blue duvet, covering my face up as far as my eyes. This meant that I could see the colour of the duvet, but I could also see the daylight around the top edge. I was convinced I was awake, but when I moved my arm to move the duvet from my eyes, my hand just passed straight through the duvet and I couldn't shift it. I'm not sure if this was a kind of sleep paralysis, or just a bit more dream. It wasn't scary, just surprising. I was very shortly able to get up properly.
